Every aspect of automotive maintenance and repair in ATI's NATEF/ASE is provided through these teachings.
Including:
- Bumper-to-Bumper Training covering every system
- ASE/Ford-Plus Training
- NATEF/ASE Master Certified Auto Tech Training Automotive/Diesel Technology II
To gain more knowledge and enhance your marketability, Automotive/Diesel Technology II is a great class to take.
The basic courses of Diesel/Heavy Vehicle training and ASE/Ford-Plus combine to create the Automotive/Diesel training. Giving the student the advantages of additional marketability and growth potential, this training enables the student to have expertise in both automotive and diesel technologies upon graduation.
There is much more to diesel mechanics than one would suppose.
Among the topics that students learn about are:
- Marine Diesels/Ships and Boats
- Farm Tractors and Equipment
- Road Construction, Bulldozers, and Graders
- Aircraft Support Equipment, regardless of the size
The education at ATI Virginia Beach offers the student opportunities to work on various equipment, including tractor trailers, farm equipment, construction equipment, and boats and yachts. Learning opportunities are almost boundless at ATI because students can work on heavy engines, transmissions, both manual and automatic, tractor-trailers, and fuel injection systems right in the shop. There is a vast wealth of opportunities that may prove to be very rewarding.
With heavy vehicles being able to perform a multitude of tasks, Americans no longer think that the best form of transportation is the train. The country relies on these vehicles and will rely on you as well once you finish Diesel and Heavy Vehicle Technology.
Commercial Driving
Commercial American truck drivers drive over 170 billion miles each year.
ATI provides the classes you need to learn how to drive a trailer truck. Your classroom, road, and range education can be finished in only sixty days.
In a small classroom setting, they offer training in Local/Regional/Over-the-Road driving with high-quality instruction. You will be trained quickly and will be ready to be hired by thousands of employers in a short amount of time. ATI's students enjoy the benefits of education financing and tuition reimbursement. Before starting classes, Tractor-Trailer Commercial Driving students will need to have or be willing and able to obtain a valid Virginia Driver’s License.
Ford Motor Company MLR Training
With Ford Motor Company MLR Training under your belt, your skills will be highly sought after.
An association between Ford Motor Company as well as other community colleges and technical schools is known as the Ford MLR. By working in the MLR Program, you will be opening the doors to eventual careers that are both profitable and rewarding.
As a result of retirements, the motorcar service industry loses over 15,000 qualified expert workers each year. However, presently there are fewer technicians entering the automotive field. The need for qualified personnel in light repair and retail maintenance is growing more than ever.
The Advanced Technology Institute has received approval to offer Ford MLR Training as part of their coursework. ATI automotive students will have a universal understanding of all brands of NATEF-ASE (this is a NATEF-Master Certified School) and also have the opportunity to learn very specialized Ford training.
