Alliant International University

Alliant International University is a private, not-for-profit institution that readies students for professional careers of service and leadership. It also fosters the discovery and application of knowledge to enhance the lives of people in various areas globally.

Alliant was formed through the union of the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) and United States International University (USIU) in July 2001, and it is an independent, not-for-profit institution of higher education with a history marked by innovation. 

 

 

Alliant provides students with the option of choosing one of six California campuses: Fresno, Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, and San Francisco. 

 

Alliant additionally offers a facility at their Mexico City campus. Alliant Mexico stands out for being the sole Mexican university authorized by law to provide all of its curricula in English. In addition, Alliant Mexico is the sole university in Mexico where all the curricula are accredited by a US accrediting agency. Operating pioneering programs for psychologists in Tokyo, Japan as well, Alliant draws professionals from throughout America to its online curriculum in psychopharmacology. 

 

Alliant has been identified by the journal Hispanic Outlook on Higher Education as one of the best universities for bestowing Hispanics with doctoral degrees. Alliant is rated sixth.
