Avtech Institute of Technology

Founded in 1998 with the goal of providing instruction to professionals, and also people who want to have more advanced skills on a professional level, the Avtech Institute of Technology has been very successful in reaching this goal. They cater to corporate, government, private, and public markets.

The program offerings include, but aren't limited to computer networking/programming,

licensed practical nursing (LPN), and project management (PMI).

The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) has granted accreditation to Avtech Institute of Technology (in South Plainfield).

The ACCSCT is listed by the U.S. Education Department, with national recognition for awarding accreditation.

Avtech Licensed Practical Nurse Program

A few tasks that nurses complete include protection, promotion, and optimization of health, prevention of illness and pain, and alleviation of suffering; the Avtech licensed practical nurse program teaches each student exactly how to do this.

Curing people, families, and neighborhoods occur in various settings in which there are different internal and external influences that are connected to people being able to grow and advance.

CCMA/Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

This coursework offers students the chance to develop thorough entry-level skills in different requirements connected with being employed in a medical facility or a hospital.

A mix of theory and application with the laboratory methods, patient association, and office operations, like billing and computers, are taught to offer a complete training experience.

Additionally, students will be given 120 hours of externship in a real medical office or clinic where they will be able to apply learned techniques and refine new skills.

Phlebotomy practice equipment, EKG machines, examination tables, personal computers, skeletons, charts, mannequins, lab equipment, and supplies are all part of the program.

The program is also approved by the National Health Career Association (NHA) and the program addresses all the content required for the NHA certification exam to be a clinical medical assistant.

Once students successfully finish the training program and pass the NHA clinical medical assistant certification exam, they will be Certified Clinical Medical Assistants. In New Jersey along with the country as a whole, the certification is recognized.

In the actual medical care setting, students have the opportunity to develop both cognitive and technical skills through the externship part of this program.

Many different situations come up when in the real-world workforce that cannot be taught or explained in a classroom setting.

Students are required to complete practical training at a physician's office or clinic for a total of 120 hours after successfully completing the theory components.
