An ancient Zen text meaning "Blue Cliff Records" is where Blue Cliff College get its name.

While simultaneously kindling the flame of one's own personal development and personal awareness, "Blue Cliff" has come to symbolize the role of the teacher in bringing personal knowledge and insight to a student.

Providing services facilitating personal growth, professional development, and a sense of responsibility to their students, Blue Cliff College is committed to using its human and physical resources to this end.

Accomplished in the pursuit, assimilation, and dissemination of knowledge in academic programs, the primary purpose of Blue Cliff College is to help students develop a high level of competency.

Along with an appreciation of the principles of ethical conduct, the most compelling purpose of the college is to prepare the students to function proficiently in a competitive society in the career of their choice and to create within them an awareness of professional and social responsibilities.

Massage Therapy Diploma

The Massage Therapy diploma teaches you anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology as cores for further study in massage techniques. Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, Basic Shiatsu, and Supervised Clinical Practice are some examples of hands-on techniques. In the massage therapy industry the student is prepared for an entry-level position once they have their diploma.

Diploma in Medical Assisting

Students working toward a Diploma in Medical Assisting will participate in an in-depth study of the medical science of the human body including anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the body systems; clinical techniques including examining room procedures; medical lab procedures; medical terminology; pharmacology; and administrative procedures. Graduates of the diploma program are ready to accept entry-level health care positions as medical assistants working in administrative and/or clinical settings. Graduates of Blue Cliff's programs may work in doctors' offices, hospitals, and clinics. It usually takes twelve months to complete the day program and twenty-one months to complete the evening program. A Medical Assisting Diploma is awarded once a student successfully completes 64-quarter credit hours and any other requirements for graduation.
