Brookdale Community College
With available resources for student technology, more than $30 million invested in infrastructure, and as a nationally recognized leader in technology, Brookdale Community College is the place to be. They have quite a few new buildings, thanks to the $100 million facility master plan: a Counseling, Admission, and Registration Center; the state-of-the-art Bankier Library; new science and health care training laboratories and classrooms; and the new Warner Student Life Center that houses meeting rooms, college and convenience stores and dedicated space for student utilization. During 2008 and 2009, the Robert J. Collins Arena will be redesigned. The Collins Arena, brand new and multi-use, serves the entire county.
Residents of Monmouth and Ocean counties are provided with many baccalaureate and graduate programs through New Jersey Coastal Communiversity which works together with six higher education institutions in New Jersey and Brookdale.

The college police are open 24/7, 365 days a year. To meet the specific needs of the college campus, the department is uniquely set up. Brookdale police officers received training that is identical to that offered at the Police Academy, and the officers wield powers that are identical to those of any other municipal New Jersey police officer. They have the power to arrest as well as enforce criminal and traffic laws according to the college rules and principles.
The Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, which is the agency that accredits all colleges in the mid-Atlantic area, has accredited Brookdale Community College. The United States recognizes the Commission on Higher Education as an agency that accredits institutions.
