AAS in Medical Administration Assistant
Students of this program will be ready for an entry-level job at a physician's office or other health care location. To obtain this goal, those who graduate will utilize relevant procedures relating to medical work, letting them work well in a technologically advanced office setting to keep patient files organized, manage records, and perform tasks like medical transcription, coding and billing for insurance, and medical office scheduling on a computer. An Associate in Applied Science degree plan offers a mix of academic concepts with general education curriculum and technical experience with the required classes for the current medical office surroundings.
AAS in Network Support Specialist
Students who complete this program will be prepared for entry-level positions in computer network administration within various organizations. To achieve this goal, students will be able to: give an explanation of major networking topologies, utilize the field-specific terminology, install and maintain network components, make an assessment of network status, utilize troubleshooting methods and devices, properly utilize Microsoft Windows 98/2000/NT/XP-based networks, and be familiar with Novell.
