Center For Advanced Legal Studies

The ABA has approved and certified the Center for Advanced Legal Studies. 

 

Since opening their doors in 1987, they have specialized exclusively in the education of paralegals; they are in fact a college for paralegals. The Center is recognized by the legal community as the best in paralegal education because of the superior skills and knowledge of graduates, faculty, and staff.

Paralegal Programs

Both the Paralegal Certificate curriculum and the AAS Degree curriculum guarantee graduates obtain the degree endorsed to enter the paralegal occupation. The students in the Paralegal Certification program at the Center already possess a bachelor's degree and build their paralegal education on that. Upon completion, AAS Degree students earn their paralegal degree.

Those who enroll in the AAS Degree in Paralegal Studies receive thorough preparation for a paralegal career, as each area of the law covered in the Paralegal Certificate program is included here, as well as specialty law courses, like Immigration Law, Criminal Law, and Wills, Trusts, and Probate. As well as sound paralegal training, the student gains further general education and computer knowledge as part of the degree program.
