Medical Assisting

The main goal of this program is to supply students with the necessary skills and knowledge for entry-level positions in the medical field. There will be practical experiences that are job related and training that is hands on provided to the student. Updating general education and refresher training are secondary objectives. Part of the program involves a position as an extern without monetary compensation. Students must get certification in CPR and First Aid & Safety from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.

Dental Assistant

Building competencies and skills necessary for entry-level positions in the medical field as a Dental Assistant is the primary objective of this program. Pupils get first-hand, career-focused, experiential instruction. Updating refresher training and general education are included on the list of secondary objectives. Part of the program involves an uncompensated day extern position. Pupils are required to be certified for Red Cross or AHA-offered CPR and First Aid & Safety courses.

Medical Office Technology

The main goal for this program is to establish the fundamentals for beginning level entry as a medical office personnel employee or to improve your knowledge for a promotion in thatfield. Pupils gain first-hand expertise in the skills of transcription, coding, and associated classes. Core instruction as well as refresher classes are part of the program's secondary mission.

Office Technology

The main goal of this program is to establish basic skills for a person to assume an entry-level position in the field of office technology. Students will utilize a number of current software packages. Updating, general education, and refresher training are secondary objectives. Minimum production-based skills must be shown by candidates for graduation.

Computer Networking Technology

The main purpose of this program is to ready students for entry-level jobs as industrial or field service technicians in the Computer/Networking field. In addition, upgrading, general education, and refresher training are secondary objectives.
