CTS Canadian Career College
CTS Canadian Career College is an educational institution that takes pride in both the success of their graduates and in their school. They provide personal instruction and administration on three campuses. A student population of about 500 full time students is served by the North Bay, Sudbury, and Barrie campuses.
No longer than one year, the programs vary in length. In the community college setting, longer programs are equal to these accelerated programs.
Community Services Worker
A resourceful and caring person, you would like a career in which you offer various types of assistance to people and their families within the community.
Choices for employment include job training, retirement homes, and social service. The need for community service workers will continue with the growing population of elderly persons, the mentally disabled and developmentally challenged, pregnant teenagers, homeless persons, and those with substance abuse problems. Other places where growth continues are with native outreach and community development, specifically for young people, including rehabilitation.
Law Clerk
A law clerk is trained to assist in varied and specialized administrative tasks. There is a high demand for law clerks, by both lawyers and businesses.
Law clerks will find employment in environments that move very quickly in law firms; corporate legal departments; financial institutions; insurance companies; title searching companies; federal, provincial, and municipal government offices; court offices; registry offices; government boards and tribunals; and legal services provider agencies, etc. Law clerks will prepare trial documentation, will interview witnesses, arrange trial dates and adjournments, prepare corporate/commercial documentation, complete family law financial statements, assist in the administration of estates, complete legal research, searching titles and processing real estate transactions, etc., depending of course on the area of employment.
