Illinois School of Health Careers
The mission of the Illinois School of Health Careers is to offer quality educational and training opportunities to those individuals seeking the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the allied health or computer professions.
Goals
The ideals of individual worth, human dignity and the value of work, responsibility, and achievement are a central theme at the Illinois School of Health Careers.
In support of this goal, Illinois School of Health Careers promises:

- To furnish facilities along with the equipment needed to achieve educational aims of each of their programs.
Student Services: Career Placement
Graduating students receive help with job preparation and job search activities from the Illinois School of Health Careers. To help the student find an entry-level job, ISHC will offer him/her help with resume preparation, job interview techniques, and job search strategies.
Employment preparation courses will be taken by Medical Assistant and Dental Assistant students. These courses will provide students with the opportunity to learn job interviewing procedures, including resume writing, interviewing techniques, and the appropriate attire for interviewing and the workplace. Pupils gain computer experience to help complete their portfolios.
