Iowa Central College Online

A 1966 amalgamation of three separate junior colleges, Iowa Central College was started to provide a number of Iowa counties with opportunities in education. The main campus is situated in Fort Dodge, Iowa, complemented by secondary campuses in Webster City and Storm Lake, along with an online degree program.

This school gives students the chance to pursue their education in many areas regardless if they are searching for career instruction, basic education, individual enrichment, economic progress, or general adult education programs. Iowa Central also has perks for athletic-minded students. Students can participate in any of the 16 varsity programs varying from football to rodeo, which are more choices than most community colleges.

Iowa Central provides many options for students to study online. FlexNet classes enables people to enroll whenever they want during the semester; however, the classes must be finished in a 15-week period after enrollment. Students may also choose to enroll in conventional web classes that coincide with the academic year. Self-Paced Study programs are available as well, and students will get an information bundle by mail to fill out and send back to the teacher by the semester's end. Students can also participate in online courses, where students and instructors communicate with each other live in a virtual classroom. Students can access both live and recorded content.
