Dating back to 1999, Jones College Online has offered quality web-based instruction. The following BS and AS programs are offered: Business Administration, Interdisciplinary Studies, Computer information Systems, and Legal Assistant (only for residents of Florida.)
First time students need to go through an online student orientation activity prior to taking their first course. In the week prior to the beginning of instruction, pupils have the opportunity to take an orientation class. Orientation takes one hour, and introduces enrollees to the fundamental skills required to succeed in distance learning.
Online instruction requires self-discipline and a talent for individual work.
Students should be aware that these online courses are not an easy alternative to campus courses, but do offer more convenience. Students enrolled in the online program will have an excellent command of written and verbal English, efficient time management, and possess basic computer skills. Things such as submission of assignments, communications, tests, and other activities that related to the course are provided for on the class website.
