Milan Institute of Cosmetology
There are several campuses that make up the Milan Institute of Cosmetology. They are located in Amarillo, TX; San Antonio, TX; Bakersfield, CA; Clovis, CA; Indio, CA; Visalia, CA; Boise, ID; Nampa, ID; and Reno-Sparks, NV. Students at any of the campuses can study either an Aesthetician-Esthetician Curriculum or a Cosmetology-Operator Curriculum.
The Aesthetician-Esthetician Program gives students a full education in the following areas: makeup (both application and composition), hair removal, bacteriology, facials, nail care and technology, and other topics. Students will learn these skills in the classroom as well as through practical hands-on training in a student salon in which students can practice their skills on real people, supervised by qualified instructors.
The Cosmetology-Operator Program consists of everything that is offered in the Aesthetician-Esthetician Program. Additionally, students learn everything they need to know and receive expert training in becoming fully qualified hair stylists. One can't emphasize enough the fact that their programs include both technical and theoretical classroom instruction and hands-on salon experience.
These two programs include business education. Besides learning how to interact and communicate with their patrons, graduates will need to know how to operate or manage a salon or spa, as well as possess concrete retail knowledge. These graduates will be equipped with the knowledge to one day run their own spa or salon.
Students at the Milan Institute of Cosmetology may also choose to enroll in the Massage Therapy Program in order to find work in the field of massage therapy. When they graduate using this method, students will have the knowledge of how to help sports injuries and offer basic massage therapy holistically for health. This program teaches business skills too.
The staff at the Milan Institute of Cosmetology is professional and fully qualified; they work tirelessly to make sure that students are well taken care of. Alumni can always take advantage of the Institute's Career Services program, which includes employment assistance, so that students will prosper in their careers.
