Acceptance

You will receive an acceptance letter if a review of the completed application, transcript, and student evaluation indicates you are fully compliant. The school will send you information regarding orientation after you are accepted. You will receive all the necessary information to get started on coursework at an informational orientation.

Accreditation and Licensing

The Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education Bureau gave the National Education Career Center in Citrus Heights a permit to operate according to the California Educational Code Section 94311. As required by the Private Postsecondary Reform Act of 1989, the Bureau's license means that the facility and its operation have met the state's standards. At this time, institutional licenses must be re-approved every three years and is under constant review as well.

As a branch of the Institute for Business and Technology in Santa Clara, California, National Career Education has been accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.

National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Registry for medical programs (CCMA, RMA), California State Department of Health Services, and Laboratory Field Services for obtaining a phlebotomy license are included in their accreditation and licensing materials.
