Ontario College of Health and Technology
A private school, Ontario College of Health & Technology is under registration with the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities. They base their mission on the assumptions of invitational education: intentionality, optimism, respect, and trust. At the college they work hard to find out what students really need and want and to give that to them in a consistent manner. The provision of a quality private education in a facility that is above average is the focus of the college.
Police Foundations
The first step to a Police career in Ontario is this eleven month diploma program. People who want to be Police Constables and Corrections Officers will like Police Foundations. A number of colleges provide the teaching components of the Police Prep (PATI, WCT, PREP and B-PAD) and assist students in taking and passing the exam that is necessary to receive their "Applicant Testing Certificate". The process has twelve steps, and this is only the first. Many candidates are not able to come anywhere near the twelfth step, and they have no idea why. Development or Essential Competencies interviews can last up to four hours. Therefore, applicants may fail simply because they become exhausted. Ontario College works with its students to prepare them, with practicing, rehearsing, refining, and perfecting the coursework required to be successful in the total necessary steps. The applicant is placed in a position for better success when they understand the system and do the preparation for the process in its entirety.
Massage Therapy
The assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body is involved in the practice of massage therapy. It also involves treating and preventing physical problems and pain of the soft tissue and joints, through manipulating them to develop, maintain, rehabilitate, or increase physical function or alleviate pain.
