Friedrich Nietzsche

Friedrich Nietzsche

"Is man one of God's blunders? Or is God one of man's blunders?"

Born in the Prussian Province of Saxony in 1844, Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, remains one of the world's most influential philosophers of all time.
Nietzsche is perhaps most recognized for his writings on existentialist philosophy. He taught that people should live their lives and take risks as if there is nothing beyond this life instead of basing decisions on the hope of an afterlife. Some of his most well-known works are The Gay Science, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, and Untimely Meditations. His critical texts on religion, morality, contemporary culture, philosophy and science continue to be studied, referenced, and questioned long after his death in 1900. Below is a comprehensive list of Nietzsche's writings, reviews of his works, and various Nietzsche resources.
