The Physical Therapy doctoral degree requires three years to finish as ATSU's Arizona School for Health Sciences. Student will graduate from the Physical Therapy Residential Program once they successfully complete their classwork, clinical rotations, and final project. Physician Assistant

Under the guidance of a physician, physician assistants are employed as licensed health care experts that administer medicine. Physician assistants provide standard services in which they gather medical histories, place orders, perform physical examinations, counsel patients, interpret lab work, and help with surgery. Since physician assistants work closely with physicians, their education must supplement and parallel physician training. A student who has graduated with the necessary requirements are eligible to sit for a national certification exam administered by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the National Board of Medical Examiners. As a nationally certified physician's assistant, you must complete 100 hours of higher education every two years and every six years you must pass a re-certification test. Upon graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, students must gain state licensure and successfully complete their NCCPA certification.

Occupational Therapy

The Arizona School of Health Science's Occupational Therapy Entry-Level Program is made up of a twenty-eight month period of classwork. Program graduates are able to take NBCOT's national certification tests for occupational therapists. After the student has effectively completed his program, they'll become an official OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered).
