Designed to teach students the required skills to gain competency in the most common massage techniques, the massage techniques program at TCI is the best. Students have the opportunity to learn massage techniques in a practical manner through the units of the hands-on program, providing students with what they need.
The massage therapy program offered by Technical Career Institute has been developed so that the student can complete it at his/her convenience. Multimedia technology, like the Internet, CD-ROM's, streaming video, and textbooks, is used to deliver the program curriculum. The materials include everything that students require to complete the program successfully.
The program curriculum has been developed in such a way that students can fulfill their current responsibilities and further their education at the same time. The program is flexible enough so that students are able to study at times that are convenient for them. Students are able to enroll in the program at any time, due to the open-ended enrollment option. Self-paced, the program does not adhere to a traditional timeline. Each student can decide how long they need to finish the course, depending on their personal schedule.
The program for massage techniques has 11 unique lessons that deal with basic and advanced massage methods as well as human anatomy. Required vocabulary and an overview of the lesson curriculum is included, and each lesson has defined learning outcomes for students to follow. Online, open book exams culminate each lesson.
Students are able to access helpful instructors, tutors, and online student support groups in this program.
