Texas School of Business's History: A Short Timeline
- Originally, Texas School of Business was established in 1983 in north Houston as a small, private secretarial school.
- A number of new business programs were added by the School in 1984, the year in which it was also incorporated.
- A Medical Assistant program was added to the school's curricula in 1987 and a second Texas School of Business campus was opened in 1988 due to continued growth. This campus is situated in the southwest area of Houston.
- In the year of 1996, T.S.B. Holding Co., Inc., which is a privately held and locally owned company, bought Texas School of Business, Inc.
- A third campus was established in Friendswood, TX in 1999, which provided students in south Houston and the Galveston area with easy access to education.
- A fourth campus was established in 2003 and is located at 12030 East Freeway, Houston.
- Kaplan Higher Education Corporation bought the School in 2004.
