Professional Massage Therapy Program

This program will prepare the student to be a successful, practicing body worker in less than a year. The program exceeds national certification standards, as well as those set by most state and municipal governments for licensure. The Professional Massage Therapy Program provides students with instruction in light energy work as well as structural bodywork modalities. They teach Eastern as well as Western theory and technique. In this course, you will find subjects such as techniques of enrollment, starting and operating a massage therapy business, the integration of sound business practices with a holistic approach to health care, presentation, advertising, résumé writing, and job interviewing skills. A Clinical Internship is provided for students, in which they obtain on-the-job training to prepare them to work professionally.
